Fantastic food, Good service, Reasonable price

Fantastic food, two happy hours daily and live music every night, what more can you want? I love Appaloosa and have been in love ever since I came here 8 months ago for the first time. My sister was visiting me from Houston and we came to Appaloosa for lunch. We had grilled wings and Greek salad for appetizer and those were awesome. We both had sandwiches, Turkey for my sister while I had the Steak. Needless to say, both our sandwiches were delicious, tender and moist.  I have come here often after that with friends and sometimes alone for both lunch and dinner and have enjoyed their menu immensely. 5 stars for the English Pot Roast and truffle fries alone…. The service is nice and friendly. Appaloosa is certainly worth checking out.

Wonderful Food Experience

Our first visit to Appaloosa. Wonderful food experience.  Service was excellent.  The atmosphere was cozy and the décor amazing.  The cuisine was top notch and certainly worth another visit. We were a party of 4- my husband, myself, mom and dad for my parent's anniversary dinner.  We ordered a bowl of the bison chili that was perfect in portion, in spice and taste,  Hummus, Buffaloaf, Sea Bass Bandera, Thai curry and Steak Frites. Everything that came to our table was just delicious and perfectly cooked. For dessert, we had the Tress Leches Cake..ummmm, it perfectly satisfied my sweet tooth. The service was good and our food was delivered in a prompt, timely manner. We would definitely go back and have been recommending this amazing restaurant to everyone.

Mediocre food

I'm not a fan of loud Music and hence didn't enjoy my first experience here. I went to Appaloosa because the kitchen is open late. I had just got back to Denver from an official trip and it was late, therefore this place was where I went. The food was mediocre food, bar style and the service was horrible. I was twice brought someone else's order before I got mine. As for the prices, I feel these are a little high for mediocre food and OK beers. However if bar food, drink specials and loud music is your thing , then this is the spot. However I think that there are many, many better options on the mall.
