They are great!! I got my hair done with Salvador about a month ago and I love it! I have been looking for a hairstylist since I moved to Denver and I think my search is over. And who would have thought it would be for a better price! I could hug my friend a thousand times for telling me about Aveda Academy! I love this place! All the people working here are friendly and cool, not like other salons I've been to where they look down their nose at you because you aren't dressed up to get a haircut. The inside is cool, they recently remodeled - pretty modern and downtown cool. I've been here twice to see Hannah, I was extremely satisfied both times! I'm not super picky with my hair and I'm fairly young, as is she. She had great suggestions for a funky yet professional enough do. I absolutely love going to the Aveda Academy. I always have an amazing experience and always am very happy with the results. Everytime I leave I feel like going out on the town and showing off my awesome new hair-do. Overall, I was surprise to find a salon of this quality that's still this affordable in downtown. I love the atmosphere. The people are low-key but helpful, the environment is beautiful and relaxing, and I always feel great when I leave.

Lovely Denver led me to give the Aveda Academy, PureTalent Salon a try. Not only was my stylist, Margie, super funky and friendly, but I was thoroughly pleased by the combo high/lowlights she put in my hair (in an effort to add some more dimension to the over-bleached botch job I suffered this past summer). Margie also cut my hair - my first haircut in seven months - which was incredibly nerve-wracking. Snip, snip, snip she went and I admit I was a tad anxious that it would be too short, but alas, it looked gorgeous. After she dried and styled it, it was perfect - she didn't take too much off the length and shaped up my layers nicely giving me more volume. I'd actually forgotten how good my hair looks after a new cut. Bye-bye scraggly ends and flat, lifeless hair! And, the best part? The whole she-bang only cost me a mere $70 bucks...a very sweet price. Had I gone anyplace else, I'd be looking at upwards of $160 for all that fabulousness.
