Real Comfert at Crowne Plaza Hotel Denver
This is an ideal place to stay if you're in town to attend a conference, as I was this past weekend. I was really grateful that I could easily walk back to the hotel from the Convention Center in between sessions for a little quiet time. Good location in Denver and within walking distance from the 16th street mall and light rail station. Not the best hotel I've stayed in but still not bad at all; no complaints from me. Front desk reception seems to care about your stay as well as the breakfast crew (which was very polite). Overall, not a bad choice in hotels
My favorite part is that the bed was warm, snugly, and comfy. I even liked my pillow which isn't the norm. It was also quiet and I couldn't hear the neighbors. I was nervous about this because our room was the one closest to the elevators. On our bed was a small bag filled with ear plugs, cooling eye mask, and a cd with sounds to get the zzz's in full effect. It was a nice touch.
Compared to what was probably the first elevator ever installed in some random building in Chicago I visited, these absolutely suck. For example, if you're on ANY floor but the Lobby, and try to go to any other floor, you will wait about 10-15 minutes if there is any activity on any other floor, and there are 5 separate elevators cars. I don't know if because they had to integrate their keycard system into everything here, or if they just bought the cheapest elevator controller available, but its really bad. I actually have to take elevators going up due to problems with my knees, otherwise I would be happy to just take the stairs.
