Fancy Tiger Crafts is crafting heaven! Everything about the shop encourages creativity -- hands down we have the best craft-book selection in Metro Denver. The staff are all: friendly; never pushy; smart -- not condescending.

Fancy Tiger is fabulas! Don't be intimidated by the too hip for craft neophiles reputation. I love that the shop is small enough that I don't get completely overwhelmed, but large enough to offer all of the things I need to create something amazing. The staff and patrons are all very friendly and willing to offer advice and ideas at the drop of a hat. I find their prices to be pretty comparable to other places, but I don't mind paying just a little more to support a great store that offers more than just stuff on shelves. It's a crafty community in there. Open craft night is an inspiring evening of crafters doing their thing and helping each other out when necessary. Whether you are a needlework pro or are just learning how to glue together Popsicle sticks to make a coaster, you'll feel welcome. The craft items are a good find too, a little nicer than anything you'll find at the local Hobby Lobby and awesome gifts for the knitter in anyone's life. If nothing else, Fancy Tiger is a cool way to support your local artists and designers, working hard to make Denver a more culturally satisfying place to live.

You can get cheap yarn or craft supplies at a big craft chain. But at Fancy Tiger you can get knowledgeable, helpful staff who seem genuinely excited about whatever project you're working on. You can find unique materials and supplies and stuff of good quality. If only I lived in Denver and could sew!! This place looks so cute and what great fabrics! I love it! I met Jaime in San Diego and she told me about her store. I love the look of the store and the little crafts spread throughout. Fancy Tiger is an adorable small shop made for crafty folks. There is plenty for sewers, crocheters, knitters, you name it. They have a fantastic collection of whimsical fabrics. My friend showed me a fabric that had cupcakes and cake slices on there.

Our first stop on the street was Fancy Tiger Crafts owned by Amber Corcoran and Jaime Jennings, both young entrepreneurs. They have been at their location for 3 years, starting their hip and modern crafting business in a unique corner storefront on Broadway. Customers from across the entire country tell them their fabrics, classes and products are a rare find. Their sewing classes are often booked solid, demonstrating that the art of sewing is once again, in vogue. Spinning yarn, felting, knitting and embroidery are a few other areas of their expertise and the shop specializes in modern prints and designer sewing patterns.
