About:

Fuel Cafe Denver opened its doors at TAXI in January 2008. A hip, funky, industrial restaurant, off the beaten path, Fuel Cafe serves as Denver’s culinary Outpost. Ideal for an evening of lingering over great food, conversation and wine. Grab a quick snack and cocktail with friends during the RiNo art walk or before a Rockies game.

Fuel Cafe is a one of a kind place -- urban, on the River, with a beautiful outdoor patio with views of the city and the mountains. Driven by the seasons, the weather and the moods of the chefs, Fuel’s menu strives to provide a unique Denver experience.

This place has my favorite Cubano Sandwich

You are missing some of Denver’s best food if you haven’t tried Fuel Café yet. You are guaranteed to have the finest meal at this ‘off the beaten path’ restaurant. This place has my favorite Cubano Sandwich that I can never resist. Fuel also offers a few standouts that are over the top like their Pork Shoulder Pozole, Reuben with home made chips and tacos. Just delicious! They also offer out of this world desserts if you can save room for it. My favorite is the Whoopie Pie but they have a dessert special everyday and I bet anything prepared at Fuel has got to be tasty. I recommend them for lunch and dinner with 5 stars.

Bland fish with a sauce tasted bad

Hard to find restaurant and way harder to find parking. The place was quite busy when I took my gf for lunch there and it took the food 40 minutes to arrive after ordering. The wait was frustrating. The food that we ordered was nothing special, just ok but was way overpriced for the portions. My fish entrée had a bland fish with a sauce that tasted bad. The Scallops with Cider Cream that my gf ordered were better than what I had. Even the flourless chocolate cake was a big let down and tasted like a dried out brownie. I might give this place one more try but not for a while.

Blast of wonderful flavors and perfectly cooked

Fuel Café is a stimulating spot for anyone looking for best dining experience. Went with my husband and mother to celebrate her birthday last month. A friend had suggested this place. Loved it although it was highly unexpected considering the surroundings. Their staff is a bunch of great people and the decor and lighting are splendid. The food definitely exceeded our exceptions. From our appetizers to the main course and dessert, everything was blast of wonderful flavors, insanely tasty and perfectly cooked. I loved that our wine was served in flasks and beakers. Although my husband wants to give this place a 4 because of the location, I’d go with 5 stars and can not wait to go back for the same experience again.

They emphasize on using fresh and seasonal ingredients

Fuel café is really a hidden gem. It’s a popular place and gets crowded fast. The menu is amazing and always changing. They emphasize on using fresh and seasonal ingredients. The gnocchi, delicious soups and salads apart from superb strawberry margaritas are the things that keep me coming back to try more items from their menu. If you are fond of places that are all about seasonal ingredients with a modern twist, then check this place out. You will not be disappointed.
