Museum of Contemporary Art is Denver's first and only contemporary art museum, founded in 1996 and located at 1485 Delgany St. This museum inspires audiences to understand and learn about art of our time. Comprising of five distinct galleries, three spaces are dedicated for education, multiple sites for special projects or commissioned works and one live art/lecture hall, the museum also holds interesting opening nights where one can get to hear artists speak about their work and can indulge into creative conversation with them. The art exhibits change often hence there is always something new to learn and see. The Museum of Contemporary Art is a place full of funky sitting areas, cafe, playgrounds for kids, and all sorts of cool surprises that will make your day a pleasant, entertaining and worthwhile.
