A great place for Coffee, Doughnuts and Beer, that’s how many people remember The Hole restaurant for. Owned by Mike Delmonico, who got his pastry degree from Johnson & Wales University, this joint produces at least two dozen kinds of doughnuts a day with the variety including everything from a Plain Jane, Mr. Chocolate, Boston Cream to delectable The King- a premium doughnut filled with bananas, caramel and peanut butter, topped with chocolate ganache and a piece of house made maple bacon. Other bakery items include croissants, Danishes, breads and creampuffs that are just as delectable.
Apart from out of the ordinary doughnuts, The Hole also serves delightful salads, sandwiches, flatbread pizzas and bites including sweet potato fries, funnel cake fries and poutine. Not to forget Beer to wash it all down.
