Zanzibar Billiards Bar Denver was founded in the belief that everyone should have access to affordable quality entertainment. Zanzibar Billiards Bar is one of Denver's top destinations, bringing people of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels together under one roof, thaey had their grand opening was in November of 2009.

They are a local family based business. It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears to open. The building was built around the turn of the century or before.  It has been beautifully restored by the descendants of the original owner. They built the bar, the Statue of Liberty crown replica, sanded the floor, tiled the bathrooms, built the patio, cleaned, cleaned, cleaned and the list goes on. It took us almost 1 year to open Zanzibar Billiards Bar.

They welded an amazing Statue of Liberty crown that is above the bar. The biggest replica West of the Mississippi. Zanzibar Billiards Bar Denver has a very New York feel to it.   They are very happy to say that not only do we help a lot of people by employing them so they can provide for their families but are also a great addition to the block. They are a part of the revitalization project in the Ball Park neighborhood.  And offer a comfortable, classy and hip place for locals to hang out.

Great bar to service the pool tables

Awesome location. Roomy, good music and atmosphere! This would be a great place to stop in after any event or before dinner to shoot a few games. If the Wynkoop is crowded, this is a great alternative to get your billiards on.

Cheap cocktails and beer. Love that!

Wide open spread, tons of pool tables and on the weekends, they are always full. I'm not really a true pool player, but this place was fun. I would guess most pool halls attract the same type people, since I'm not a pool haller, I just enjoyed it for what it was. I'd go back.
